Migraines often come in four phases:
1. Warning Phase (Prodrome): Mood changes, food constant yawning.
- Aura Phase (for some people): Flashing lights, zigzag lines, or tingling in the face or hands.
- Attack Phase: The throbbing pain begins, often on one side of the head. It can be so bad that you can’t do anything else.
- Recovery Phase (Postdrome): The pain goes, but you feel weak, tired, and “not yourself” for a day or two.
Understanding your migraine stages can help you control them early.
